HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE HAIR INDUSTRY?
That might give away my age.. When I was a little girl maybe 4.. My Aunty would pull up and before she could take her shoes off I had my brush and rollers ready ha ha!
WHERE WERE YOU TRAINED?
My pops was a Barber.. Growing up, I helped out in his shop sweeping floors, shampooing his clients. My first official training was by him.
And then off to Hair Design Academies in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Along the way I’ve done many work shops for advance training. Then became a Journey person stylist.
WHY DID YOU WANT TO BECOME A BARBER?
It is a passion I share with my dad. Also, I love to make men look and feel great!
IF YOU WEREN’T A BARBER, WHAT WOULD YOU PREFER AS A CAREER?
I believe professional golfer would be in order. I think I would be the next Lorena Ochoa, kinda?
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT WORKING AT SPORTS BARBERS?
Where do I start? This has got to be the best group of talented, enthusiastic, caring barbers I’ve had the pleasure to work with. Being part of this amazing team and becoming very community active is exciting to me. Plus I get paid for it. What a bonus!
